Description


Job Purpose

Effectively analyzing and interpreting data to produce quality strategic, tactical an operational reports and scorecards pertaining to complaints, customer governance and root cause analysis.

Key Responsibilities

• Understand and identify key messages for various reports (i.e. Strategic, tactical and operational reports) and various stakeholders
• Analyze and interpret data from various sources and produce reports that are of a high quality, accurate and useful in business decision making
• Build effective scorecards to ensure coverage of issues with a high risk or impact
• Ensure data integrity of data and information contained in Customer Care reports.
• Develop, design, test and implement daily, weekly and monthly reports as identified
• Design, develop, test and implement statistics and metric reports
• Maintain and update reports based on changes requests from business
• Document and maintain report specifications using Standard Absa Group Technology and terminology
• Ensure that key messages and issues are accurately communicated in reports
• Identify any discrepancies in data or information and ensure corrective actions
• Ensure reports are produced allowing sufficient time where Exco sign off is required for Barclays reporting
• Build and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders across Absa ensuring alignment to Group reporting standards
• Develop relationships with internal stakeholders and understanding changing business needs and requirements with regards to reporting.
• Test the validity and usefulness of reports with business and ensure continuous improvement of reports
• Develop and build strong relationships with EIM team to maintain a high level of data integrity
• Investigate the automation of routine reporting
• Investigate analytical tools to enhance the interpretation of data
• Assist Management and Business in interpreting and understanding the content
• Monitor reports on a continual basis to ensure that quality, data integrity and accuracy is maintained
• Ensure effective backup of data and reports on a daily basis to ensure minimal loss of information and data
• Compile and deliver ad hoc reports or queries on customer care activities
• Validate the validity of all reports in terms of usefulness

Qualifications


Minimum Requirements

• Relevant National Diploma or equivalent NQF level 5 qualification or higher
• Three (3) years experience within Banking or Financial and Services industry
• Three (3) years experience in writing and editing reports
• Proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook) and the Internet
• No criminal record

Preferred Requirements

• Relevant statistical analysis degree or equivalent NQF level 6 qualification
• Data analysis
• Interpretation of statistical data into strategic reports
• Preference will be given to South African Citizens and Permanent residents of South Africa in possession of proof of permanent resident status
