Area of specialisation: To independently manage and implement large multi-disciplinary projects (schemes or programmes) including administrative, fiscal, contract, technical, quality and safety assurance responsible for the integration of the different packages for the whole site.

Minimum Requirements

Qualification(s)
BSc Engineering or B Tech Degree with a related Project Management qualification
Experience:
Extensive Project Management experience-7 years

Skills and Competencies

Project management in the oil and gas industry based on projects involving drilling, casings, pipework, valves, compressors, pumps and pressure vessels.
Knowledge of the procurement, construction & commissioning of mechanical components and systems according to relevant, appropriate oil & gas industry designs, norms, standards, codes, regulations and practices.
Knowledge of the Mine Health & Safety Act (MHSA) and the South African Mineral Petroleum Resources Development Act (MPRDA)
General management skills(planning, leadership, motivating, organising, controlling and co-ordinating
Strategic, analytical and problem solving
Financial/Business analysis skills
Project Management
Law of contract/dispute resolution

Key Responsibilities

Oversees the Entire Multi Project Program for Refurbishments, capacity increase and new projects.
Performs management reporting
Performs stakeholder management(external and internal)
Manages the resources(people & money) in the Multi Program Management office
