  Job Title: Billing Clerk

Function: Patient Services
Facility: Life Bay View
Position: Billing Clerk
Introduction: A vacancy exists for a Billing Clerk at Life Bay View Hospital in Mossel Bay, reporting to the Patient Services Manager, Ms Susan de Necker.
Critical Outputs:

Accurate and timeous capturing of charge sheets;
Checking of proof lists and charge sheets;
Relieve in patient services department and Theatre/ICU Billing;
Effective Stock Control of Theatre/ICU department.


Requirements:

Matric and computer literate;
Billing and knowledge of IMEDS system essential;
Stock Control experience will be an advantage;
Excellent inter-personal skills;
Energetic and ability to work under pressure;
Knowledge of the Life Health structures is essential.
