PHYSIOLOGY
SCHOOL OF LABORATORY MEDICINE & MEDICAL SCIENCES
WESTVILLE CAMPUS

The incumbent will supervise the practical aspects of a laboratory which will include
the preparation and set up of practicals and the maintenance of Laboratory and
teaching resources and equipment. S/he will also be responsible for some
administration
Minimum Requirements:
• Three years relevant qualification with majors in Physiology and /or Histology or
related disciplines
• Two years relevant experience in a medical science laboratory setting
• Computer literate
• Valid drivers licence
Advantages:
• Knowledge of routine Physiological and Histological techniques
The candidate will be expected to familiarise him/herself with techniques specific to
a Physiology teaching laboratory
