Introduction
Computicket has a vacancy for a Senior Corporate Travel agent to be based in Brackenfell, Cape Town.
The main purpose of the position is to manage a team of agents as well as managing all international corporate travel for the company. The main objective of the job will be to facilitate corporate travel bookings and to manage a small team of agents in this area.
Minimum Requirements


Normal working hours and standby
After hours support a requirement



3 years+ experience in a management role
5-10 years International travel Industry experience
Minimum of 5 years senior consultant experience
3 year Qualification in Travel and Tourism
BSP Accreditation compulsory
Previous experience working on the following reservation systems; Worldspan is compulsory.
Personal travel experience will be an advantage
Good understanding of direct, telephonic customer contact and communication
Previous experience managing a team of agents
Driven and Energetic
Mature and professional
Ability to liaise across all levels
Ability to motivate a team
Ability to work under pressure
Ability to make independent decisions
Drivers licence and own transport essential
Accuracy and attention to detail is a prerequisite
Outgoing and good communication skills
Focus on customer service excellence

Job Specification


Job duties will include:

Daily running of the Corporate travel division- International travelling
Overseeing and facilitating all aspects of the company travel bookings
Management of a demanding corporate travel office dealing with high volumes of bookings
Manage all aspects of agent performance
Managing of service levels of junior staff
Coaching and training of team members
Compiling of team performance and sales reports
Reporting to senior management on service, performance and trends
Responsible for team discipline according to the BCEA and LRA
Responsible for the compilation of industry and service training manuals
Responsible for the compilation of workflows for this area
Responsible for the motivation of this team
Liaise with internal customers and travel agencies on a daily basis
Manage the daily administrating processes of the team



Outputs:

To be able to facilitate corporate travel requests promptly and accurately
Management of staff in a demanding and fast paced environment
Handling of all travel related queries after hours (Standby on a rotation basis)
Managing and motivating team
Managing service levels
Dealing with client queries
