Qualification(s):
B.Sc. Eng/B.Eng in Mechanical, Chemical, Electrical, Electronic, Mechatronic, Computer, Civil, Metallurgical or Industrial Engineering o ECSA Registered Pr. Eng
Experience
4 years related experience in engineering design, design integration and engineering management in power generation technologies for materials handling plant, low pressure services plant, chemical plant, boiler emissions control, milling, draft group, burners, power plant processes turbine center line, pumps gas turbines, high pressure equipment, feed heating and cooling, solar plants, wind energy plant and related chemistry systems, electrical C&I and civil.
Post qualification experience

Provides a technical consulting and investigation service for customers
Produces and integrates engineering solution/designs for asset creation on behalf of customers at various stages of the project lifecycle
Develops and approves discipline-specific philosophies, technical standards, procedures, work practices and specifications for approval
Provides input into discipline specific vision, strategy and direction setting
Conducts discipline-specific research into new technologies
Participates in national and international technical forums
Manages and conducts product, equipment, material, service and change impact evaluations
