Job Purpose:
• To source and acquire net-new primary clients through a variety of acquisition channels so as to meet the area’s financial and service objectives, improve client service, improve and maintain stakeholder relationships whilst adhering to processes and procedures to ensure compliance and reduce risk.

Key Functions / Responsibilities
Quality New Clients Acquired:
• To acquire new primary clients through being proactive and taking advantage of both internal and external sales opportunities.
• Identify and source sales opportunities and leads external to RRB by.
• Developing effective networks.
• Building relationships with various stakeholders external and internal to Nedbank.
• Develop and implement marketing plans, promotions and activities to acquire net new client.
• Preparing and making presentations to various internal and external stakeholders.
• Taking responsibility for persistently following-up leads through the various channels without jeopardising the client relationship or the image of the company.
• Ensuring that all relevant products are cross sold at point of acquisition to increase share of wallet.
• Handing over to appropriate internal / external banker.
• Ensure smooth and efficient on-boarding of clients to the appropriate segment Orchestrate appropriate specialist interactions with clients.

Client Service and Maintenance of Stakeholder Relationships:
• Effective maintenance of relationships with internal and external stakeholders (channels, monolines).
• Corporate and Business Banking, Centres of Influence, etc.) In order to derive leads, networks and business support. To ensure these divisions are knowledgeable on RRB's offerings and empowered by knowledge transfer in order to sell RRB products to their customer and potential customer base.
• To apply the WCS way and Ask Once promise.

Maintain Operational Processes:
• Audit, Compliance and Risk: Action all reports; FICA; FAIS.
• Report fraudulent or/and any suspicious transactions; Adhering to mandates. Credit: Quality of applications.
• Supporting documentation.
• Follow-up on applications.
• Motivations, recommendations and suggestions.
• Logging of complaints and compliments; Assume responsibility for correct pricing and interest rates.

Attain Learning and Growth:
• Development plan & performance contract in place; complete RRB curriculum; complete appropriate online assessments & compliance training; network with other RRB colleagues to keep abreast of best practices and share knowledge.

Requirements:
• Matric and relevant FAIS qualification as approved by the Financial Services Board (NQF 5)
• Relevant Financial/Business Qualification/IOB/NQF Level 6
• FAIS
• 6 months - long-term insurance cat a
• 6 months - deposits less than 12 months
• 1 year - deposits exceeding 12 month
• 4 - 5 years sales experience in a financial institute
• FAIS & FICA
