Requirements: A relevant three-year tertiary or equivalent qualification in Communication
or related field plus two years functional experience. Knowledge: ● Knowledge of Labour
legislation relevant to the post (Public Finance Management Act, Public Service Act,
Marketing and Advertising Guidelines and Protocol, etc.) ● Advertising and marketing ●
Departmental guidelines and directives ● Public Service Regulations ● Batho Pele
Principles. Skills: Communication ● Computer literacy ● Presentation ● Innovative ● Time
management ● Planning and organising ●Interpersonal relations. Duties: ● Coordinate the
implementation of marketing and advertising work plans ● Enhance the Department’s brand
through initiation and management of public relations and adverts ● Assist in addressing
responses to the Department of Labour information in the public domain ● Undertake
related adhoc functions as delegated by the Director ● Manage all the resources of the
division.
