Job Title: Sales & Service Consultant
Location: Sandton
Business Unit: Business Banking
Reporting To: Service & Administration Manager
Broadband: AO (Advanced Operational)
PURPOSE OF THE ROLE:
To provide banking products and ongoing relationship servicing to individual and business clients.
KEY DELIVERABLES/OUTPUTS
1. Control administrative duties within the branch as per relevant procedure manuals
1.1. Balance ATM daily by reconciling cash withdrawals against cash holdings.
1.2. Custodian for Treasury and safe holdings.
1.3. Distribute and record all daily incoming and outgoing mail.
1.4. Check all branch alarms weekly or when instructed to do so by Service & Administration Manager to ensure that they are operational.
1.5. Control all Branch Bulk Stock (cash, travelers cheques, important
documents, etc).
1.6. Balance all Foreign Notes at month end.
2. Promote and cross sell bank products
3. Maintain customer relationships
3.1 Assist customers with all account opening and closing requests daily.
3.2 Assist customers with financial requests by interviewing the customer and completing all relevant forms.
3.3 Maintain and control customer investment and lending portfolios daily.
3.4 Issue ATM Cards and encode PINs to customers.
4. Any other tasks that may be required from time to time
QUALIFICATIONS/ EXPERIENCE:
Minimum formal education or NQF equivalent: Grade 12 or NQF equivalent
Experience: 1 (one) year in Financial Services Industry or a relevant SETA learnership
Additional requirements/training:
Willingness to acquire the necessary training for FAIS requirements to become a representative within the Financial Services Board (FSB) timeframes
