Purpose of the job Management of the maintenance process in the area of responsibility to enable production teams to reach targets within the principles of QCDSM.
Job specification
Specific experience required
-5 years experience in building construction (foundation to roofing)
-Maintain Plant availability
-Ability to read and interpret civil drawings and sketches.
-Good Knowledge of general building work, roof trusses, plumbing, concrete casting
and basic carpentery work
-Defect reporting.
-Actively participate in discussions to improve plant standard
Required outputs: Functional
-Do maintenance inspections and tasks
-Report on deviations and defects to foreman
-Assist Artisans in daily activities.
-Ability to supervise team and/or multiple teams
-Good housekeeping.
Job Requirements
Qualifications and expertise required (Must)
-Grade 12 or Equivalent
-Recognised Trade in Civil (e.g. Plumbing or Carpentry)
-Code 08 driver’s licence
