Order Management
Management reporting
Service Provider performance
Financials,
Projects,
Stock issues,
Delivery Discrepancies,
Inventory and stock movement (in and outbound)
Budget Management
Vendor Management (incl. payments)
Inventory Management
Management of stock levels
Manage all forward & reverse logistics
Direct, co-ordinate and plan the warehouse logistics, including storage and distribution of inventory.
Demonstrate excellent communication and reporting skills with staff, Head Office and suppliers.
Assist with all internal and external customer queries, complaints, and escalations.
Direct, co-ordinate and plan the warehouse logistics, including storage and distribution of inventory.
Supervises the activities of employees.
Supervise training and hiring of employees to work in the warehouse.
Develop and maintain quality assurance processes for all material and accessories.
Ensure that all occupational health and safety standards and regulations are in place for staff and inventory.
Develop and maintain policies and procedures relating to inventory and logistics.
Manage security, protect all company assets and handle store level loss prevention issues as necessary.
Analyze warehouse reports and identify new strategies for maximizing efficiency and performance.
Meeting with internal stakeholders to determine warehouse space, inventory purchasing and record control.
Motivate write-offs of old Equipment
Requirements, Experience and Attributes
The ideal candidate for this post should have the following:
Qualification and Skills:
Degree/Diploma /Certificate in logistics/Warehouse management
Post Graduate degree (or studying towards one will be an advantage)
Integrity
People management skills
Pro-active self-starter
Organized/Systematic
Must be flexible to adapt to rapidly changing environment.
Good interpersonal relationships/team player
Experience:
Minimum 5 years’ experience within a Warehousing and Logistics environment where incumbent was responsible for managing:
Outsourced Business Partners
Warehousing and Logistics
Occupational Health and Safety
Policy and Procedure development
Developing, training and supervising staff
Managing a budget
Documentation management, report writing and administration
Setting up a Warehousing and Logistics function from scratch will be a definite advantage.
Working in a SAP MM environment will be a definite advantage.
Working in a Telecom/Technology industries will be a definite advantage
