REQUIREMENTS Applicants must be in possession of a M.Sc. degree in Agriculture majoring in
Animal Science with extensive experience in scientific research or practice in the
field of Animal Nutrition (you are required to furnish a detailed CV and credit
certificate). Demonstrate a high level of analytical skills, expertise and experience in
the interpretation of scientific information with particular emphasis on ration
formulation, product efficacy, quality and safety of animal feeds. Knowledge of the
regulatory environment will serve as an advantage. Candidates must demonstrate a
high standard of written communication and ability to prepare and present scientific
reports.

DUTIES :

The advisor will be responsible for evaluating and reviewing efficacy, quality and
safety data for animal feeds, in order to support the registration of animal feeds.
Prepare and provide written technical evaluation reports. Ensure that scientific trials
are designed, conducted and interpreted in a sound scientific manner. Assist in the
development of guidelines, manuals, scientific and technical reports on the
regulation of animal feeds. Ensure that labels adequately reflect the data provided,
assist with the mentoring, training and development of other scientists in the
Department.
