Responsible for the co-ordination of the packaging design and artwork process within the category area, to support new product development, product re-launches and range extensions, ensuring timeous delivery on each

Job Specification
Identify and plan packaging needs of category area
Identify and capture pack format audit in terms of labels, sleeves, etc.
Setting, agreeing and managing the packaging design timelines, from concept to print, to ensure launch is achieved
Co-ordination of all internal stakeholders (design team, print specialists, packaging technologists) and external stakeholders (design agencies, food suppliers, printers, photographers, stylists, copywriters) to deliver their component of the packaging process according to defined CPA
This involves:
Collating all information and material (from stakeholders), needed to complete the packaging design project, namely
Design brief
Product information for copy brief
Back of pack information (ingredients, nutri, etc.)
Pack construction (die-lines and pack formats)
Agreeing, communicating and manage timelines for launches, to ensure key stakeholders are kept informed at all times, and escalating any issues with sufficient time to stakeholders
Co-ordinating all meetings (weekly status meetings, design brief, pre-production meetings for print and photography) with relevant people
Co-ordinate and manage approval process of design, back of pack, print proofs, to ensure relevant teams see and approve artwork at each stage to avoid rework and additional costs
Booking and organising photographers and stylists for photographic shoots
Mange and record costs as defined by design for
Back of pack artwork
Photography and styling
Co-ordinating and manage travel tests
Co-ordinate and manage red , black and gold seals for packaging & product
Product developers assistant: duties would incl. setting up for meetings , sending parcels, organising samples for in the bag , marketing etc
