Outputs Bank reconciliations
Ensure Cashbook balances with GL and bank statement on daily basis
Perform bank reconciliations on daily basis
Perform transaction allocation on daily basis
Liaise with bank to resolve unidentified transactions
Liaise with Divisional finance to resolve un-reconciled transactions
Complete bank reconciliation at Month-end
General Ledger reconciliations
Subscription debtors (control, unallocated, debtors in credit)
Debit order clearing account
Third party payable accounts
Bank call accounts
Cash management
Daily cash management
Financial accounting
Timeous reconciliation of bank accounts/General Ledger accounts
Timeous processing of journals/bank charge transactions
Monthly management of entries in IBS suspense account
Monthly reporting on bank reconciliations
Audits ( half yearly and yearly)
Ensure that all accounting is done in accordance with IFRS and GAAP

Manage ad hoc projects within the department
Review, maintain , testing of receipting- and payment procedures
Competencies Knowledge
At least B Comm Accounting or similar degree from a recognised University
SAP knowledge and experience
Variance analysis and reporting experience
Computer (spreadsheets, financial system, general) – thorough knowledge
