Minimum Requirements...
KEY REQUIREMENTS
· Bachelor’s degree or Equivalent Post Matric Qualification in HR/Labour Relations.
· 5 Years IR experience and extensive CCMA exposure.
· Generalist experience in HR will be an added advantage.
· Negotiation skills.
· Preferably someone within the aviation industry.
· Ability to work in a team.

Job Specification... SUMMARY OF KEY RESPONSIBILITIES · Industrial Relations Strategyo Develop and implement industrial relations strategies and policies as required in line with the corporate and HR strategies.o Monitor the external labour relations climate and identify risks and strategies to mitigate risks.o Monitor the HR Strategy and ensure that Employee Relations goals are met. · Disciplinary, Incapacity, Grievance and Dispute Procedures

Develop, implement and maintain effective Disciplinary, Incapacity and Grievance procedures.
Provide advice and assist Line and HCBP’s w.r.t. disciplinary, incapacity and grievance procedures.
Assist employees procedurally during grievance proceedings.
Represent the company at the CCMA in conciliation, con/arb and arbitration proceedings.
Provide lay counseling to employee if required and onward referral for further counseling.
Ensure compliance to all labour relations legislation and process.
Train line managers to enable handling of basic labour relations matters.
Identify pool of Chairmen and train them to effectively chair disciplinary and incapacity matters as required.
Compile and keep all records of cases handled.
Stay updated with regards to relevant IR developments, through subscription services and membership of Professional Associations.
Involve and interact with company lawyers as required.
Report weekly on all IR matters dealt with.

· Bargaining Process / Union Relations

Support all collective bargaining processes.
Provide support during retrenchment consultation processes.
Facilitate company and unions relations.
Handle queries pertaining to industrial relations.
Facilitate preparation for salary negotiations.
Active participation in Salary negotiations.
Drafting roll-out of any collective bargaining agreements.
Interact with recognized and non-recognized unions as required.
Monitoring of union numbers and implementing appropriate action as required.
Report weekly on all union matters dealt with.

· HR Policy Managemento Develop and maintain all Human Resources policies and procedures.o Review and update of Human Resource policies and procedures.o Distribute and ensure familiarly with all HR policies and procedures.o Any other reasonable HR assistance / duties that may arise from time to time.
