Outputs - Ensure the efficient operating of the procurement office, ensuring internal and external policy and procedure adherence in sourcing quotes, placing orders, receiving and dispatching of various IT equipment, ensure payment of invoices
- Resolve purchase order/payment issues with suppliers and creditors department.
- Ensure that goods and services are procured in accordance with requirements
- Facilitate the full procurement process and IT fixed asset management
- Develop strong networks and supplier relationships
- Involvement in software / licensing control and distribution
Education & Experience Matric
2 years experience in Procurement
Basic finance and computer literacy certification an advantage
Good understanding of IT procurement
Good understanding of IT Hardware and Software
Expert experience with MS Office Products (Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint, Outlook, Project).
Experience is vendor negotiations and RFP processes
Purchasing process knowledge
Contractual / legal understanding
Creditors understanding
Solid experience working in a multi-disciplinary team, fostering collaboration and teamwork.
Experience in managing supplier relationships on a strong ethical foundation.
