Job Title: Housekeeping Assistant - Theatre
Introduction: A vacancy exists for the above position at Life Bay View Hospital reporting to the Housekeeper Co-ordinator, Mr Johan Greeff.
Critical Outputs:

General Cleaning of unit in accordance with Health and Safety and Infection control standards;
Transporting linen to and from laundry - ensuring adequate linen levels;
Washing of instruments in Theatre;
Folding items taken from autoclave;
Cleaning of doctors tea rooms.



Requirements:

Grade 10;
Experience in a hospital environment will be advantagous
Time management skills;
Maintain high levels of service delivery;


Competencies:

Ability to work in a team;
Willingness to go the "extra mile";
