Key Performance Areas:
BEST PRACTICE AND KNOWLEDGE MANAGEMENT
Optimise existing systems and processes in the spirit of continuous improvement to enhance delivery on organisation requirements. Actively pursue the exchange and preservation of information between operations and individuals to facilitate effective knowledge management according to organisational objectives. Identify opportunities for process and/or system improvements that will ensure improved service delivery and customer satisfaction.
CUSTOMER SERVICE AND RELATIONSHIPS
Manage internal and external relationships to ensure compliance training standards are upheld business needs are met and employees are satisfied. Identify opportunities for process and/or system improvements that will ensure improved service delivery and customer satisfaction. Ensure customer satisfaction through skills and knowledge transfer including development interventions that will ensure optimal utilisation and system integrity.
INTERNAL BUSINESS PROCESSES
Translate the business requirements into application and process requirements for implementation. Oversee the management of the Application Support function through continuous optimisation and the constant monitoring of application and support tasks. Liaise with Corporate HR and BU's in relation to HR application and support queries and process requirements. Oversee SAP maintenance which incl. evaluating new version upgrades of SAP HR systems processes and delivery channels making recommendations and managing implementations coordinating the development and maintenance of SAP HR and managing SAP support pack implementation. Manage change control on blueprints and procedures. Execute general HR and IT governance controls. Report on all enhancements made. Evaluate the level of system performance.
LEARNING AND GROWTH
Provides performance evaluations and feedback identifies and supports workforce development opportunities. Manage subordinates' key performance areas by setting and monitoring performance standards and taking action to correct deviations to achieve the function objectives. Manage the development and implementation of a personal learning and growth plan to ensure continued development. Manage and develop performance contracts for all subordinates ensuring alignment to the overall service contracts. Maximise the effectiveness and efficiency of application support processing in the Group. Actively pursue the exchange and preservation of information between operations and individuals to facilitate effective knowledge management according to organisational objectives (by utilising BIF and CIF structures). Ensure performance contracts and succession planning processes are deployed to support the creation of an enabling environment.
BUDGET AND COST CONTROL
Ensure delivery of the application maintenance and support activities within agreed budget and headcount. Managing delivery on SLA's. Manage HR Application KPI's and provide regular reports to the Manager, HRMS for operational reporting.

Key Performance Areas:
Appointments are dependent on the completion of a successful medical examination and receipt of a valid medical certificate. Exxaro facilicates such medical examinations where required.
