Outputs Assist in the assurance and test strategy.
•Implement test processes and procedures.
•Perform tests according to technology defined standards, and report variations
•Plan and Execute test cases testing, both scripted and unscripted.
•Assist the Test Lead in the prioritization and reporting of defects in line with the Development and Systems Integration process and procedures.
•Produce and report test results and stastics on a periodic and ad-hoc basis. .
•Implement system testing quality standards in alignment with the overall test strategy
•Escalate exceptions to the Test Lead and project team
•Aid and assist other test and project team members.
•Attend regular status meetings as required with the testing and project teams.
Competencies Functional
•Practical understanding of digital TV broadcast and receiver technologies.
•Decoder software testing environment advantage.
•Exposure to software development and test processes would be beneficial.
•Relevant engineering or IT qualification required.
•Experience with test and defect tracking tools.
•Computer literate..
•Experience with automated testing would be advantageous.
•Generate proper Test documentation and Test reports

QUALIFICATIONS:
•ISEB-ISTBQ certified
•(N4/Diploma in Electronics/IT or 3 years or more software testing experience
