Introduction
Deliver to the Direct Marketing communication strategy (leveraging all channels) that maintain a one-to-one relationship with our cardholders and plays a key role in growing the Woolworths retail business (increasing cardholder spend), utilisation of credit (WFS cards) and supports the objectives of the WRewards program.
Minimum Requirements
Technical Skills:
Marketing diploma or degree
At least 3-5 years Direct Marketing experience
Ability to understand and interpret customer trends
Excellent creative writing and conceptual ability
Strong communication and influencing skills
Analytical and lateral thinker
Fanatical attention to detail
Computer Literacy: ability to operate in a Windows-based environment
Experience across all Marketing channels include Email/Digital Marketing
Print production experience is advantageous
Retail experience advantageous

Job Specification
Maximise the potential of the Clothing/Food business through the delivery of the Direct Marketing strategy (leveraging all available communication channels)
Working closely with the Research and Customer Insights team to identify, translate and interpret customer insights and trends into profitable Direct Marketing campaigns
Manage an effective, targeted plan per customer segment to communicate the agreed promotional strategy
Identify customer segments which present growth opportunities (cross-sell & up-sell)
Give input into, influence and provide support for Woolworths’ integrated marketing plans
Implement the Direct Marketing strategy and communication plan across all channels with specific emphasis on
Supporting the brand groups with integrated 360 campaigns
Interpreting the clothing brand strategy into effective Direct Marketing strategies
Identifying appropriate existing and potential customer segments
Ensuring appropriate channel and creative executions per customer lifestyle segments
Interpreting campaign feasibility and reporting on campaign PIR outcomes
Analyse, prepare and provide feedback on the success of campaigns by delivering campaign PIRs
Develop innovative campaigns that support the approved plan to acquire email addresses
Integrate effectively with the Online and Social Media Brand managers to support the 360 plan
Manage the Clothing Direct Marketing activities in line with agreed operating budgets
Deliver to the Integrated Plan
Adherence to the critical path
Delivery adhoc tactical campaigns to support the growth of clothing/food sales to the appropriate customer segments
Ensure that Direct campaigns are compliant with the Consumer Protection Act
Build relationships and work closely with internal and external stakeholders
