Outputs
•Identify and Implement appropriate software test automation processes and procedures.
•Design, develop and execute reusable and maintainable automated test scripts for the StormTest system.
•Set up test automation environments.
•Maintain and trouble shoot test automation scripts.
•Ensure proper version control and configuration management of all test objects developed and test environments used.
•Attend regular status meetings as required with the testing and project teams.
Competencies Functional
•Minimum 3 years’ experience in a consumer electronic automated software testing or software development environment.
•Strong knowledge of the Python programming language and Object Oriented Analysis and Design.
•Software debugging/troubleshooting.
•Experience with test and defect tracking tools.
•Experience with software version control tools.
•Experience with automated testing methodologies.
•Practical understanding of digital TV broadcast and receiver technologies would be advantageous.
