Job Purpose:
• To provide accurate and real-time MIS pertaining to Security Operations, Investigations and any other required information.
• Provision of processed information to allow security operations to manage resource deployment effectively.
• Oversight and management of information pertaining to investigations within the violent crime arena.

Functions/ Key Responsibilities
Reports, Reporting, Presentations, Compilation and Presentation of MIS:
• The collection, management of information and compilation of various reports, completed reporting forms and presentation.
• The presentation of such reports and presentations at meetings or forums as required.
• Production in rough and presentation format of adhoc, monthly, quarterly and annual reports.

Produce Operational Reports that Will Allow Appropriate Deployment of Operational Resources After Suspicious Activity-Trend Analysis:
• Analyse report information and respond and advise immediately, the operational output will be supplied the JOC for operational deployments.

Tracking of Cases and Measurement of Information Accuracy:
• Monitoring of cases, information and intelligence.

Collate and Submit Investigation and Incident Reports:
• Collate, analyse and produce MIS reports relating to security systems within the JOC and the group, as well as security-related noncompliance at branch level.
• Collate after-hours risk-related incident reports and escalate to Group Risk Reporting.
• Compile draft incident reports.
• File investigation reports under the relevant IRMS number.

Assist in the Research and Development of Appropriate Technical Security Solutions:
• Provide help for both internal and external customers.
• Suggest new technology to be integrated into security solutions for the group.

Review and update Standard Operating Procedure Design:
• Analyse post incident events and when required, change the procedure to avoid recurrence of identified problems.

Self Management, Training and Development:
• Manage, train and develop self; Identify training shortfalls.
• Arrange specific training to address the unit's staff competency requirements.
• Manage team of data captures and analysists.

Effective Self Development:
• Create and manage own career through guidance and support of department and colleagues.
• Manage stress and pressure effectively.
• Plan and prioritise effectively to ensure deadlines are met and quality standards maintained.

Requirements:
• Degree/Diploma.
• Degree/diploma in security management preferred.
• Minimum 10 years experience in security operations /Police/Military.
• Experience in the risk management and assessment field preferred.
• Clean personal credit and criminal rating.
• Local / occasional national travel.
