Responsibilities/Output:
Auditing of sustainable development reports includes the auditing of systems, controls and quantitative and qualitative data and information, along with assessing the report content as a whole.
Corporate governance projects include facilitating board evaluations and reviews of governance compliance, frameworks and structures.
Supporting the broader team on methodology will involve developing tools and techniques, presenting on internal training, being part of internal teams to evolve and develop this speciality and being the technical support to specific engagements.
Specific outputs with regard to client assignments include:
Ensuring proper planning and documentation of fieldwork.
Preparing draft reports.
Identifying weaknesses in procedures, systems and controls.
Assessing and analysing information obtained and interpreting findings.
Liaising directly with clients, including senior executives and Board members.
Delivering value added services to clients.
Building and maintaining relationships with clients.
Requirements
Qualification Level: CA (SA)
Additional Qualification Level: n/a
Experience Required: 3 - 4 years
Competencies / Skills:
Internal Audit related qualification.
CA(SA) training, preferably qualified
3-5 years working experience in related field ,ie, external or internal auditing
Experience on governance projects e.g. Board advisory services
Technically strong in the field of auditing methodology and documentation
Strong interpersonal and communication skills
Ability to work under pressure.
Attention to detail and willingness to work overtime.
