Key Responsibilities: The purpose of the role is to provide support to the Office of the Divisional Executive and Marketing Specialists in terms of administration. The successful candidate will be responsible for, but not limited, to the following:
* Conduct proactive research to identify relevant publications and exhibitions at/in which to profile the Bank and provide research results accordingly * Assist in the mobilisation of internal resources to compile and submit thought pieces, advertorials and editorials; * Review conference proposals and make recommendations aligned to priority sectors; * Assist in the identification of appropriate marketing collateral in which to profile the bank; * Ensure that the DBSA brand receives maximum exposure and value for money; * Liaise with creative teams and technical exhibition service providers in order to ensure high quality products which will appropriately profile the DBSA;
Provide assistance at DBSA exhibitions;
* Provide assistance to the Corporate Social Investment (CSI) section; * Provide assistance in setting up and layout of venue in terms of correct protocol procedures;
Assist with the day to day management of corporate gifts;
* Assist in identifying appropriate exchange of gifts as per protocol guidelines; * Identifying and sourcing suitable “Proudly South African” corporate gifts for the Bank.
Expertise & Technical Competencies: Candidates must be in possession of the following:
* Matric Certificate * A Certificate or National Diploma in Marketing * 1-2 years working experience in a Marketing environment would be an added advantage; * Excellent administration skills; * Ability to manage a corporate gift shop; * Excellent Communication skills (both verbal and written);
