Job Title: Senior Contract Specialist (Reference # 8611) Job Grade: GEN

The Incumbent will be responsible for:

•Draft and maintain employee benefit insurance policies and retirement fund rules
•Liaise with statutory authorities regarding registration of retirement funds
•Complete of work within the service level agreement turnaround times
•Scrutinise requests and deciding on the appropriate actions
•Analyse impact of changes/requests may have on client's and other business interests
•Seek expertise advice/input is necessary from other business areas or product owners
•Analyse the legal impact of new wording on the business and the client
•Customise standard wording and/or creating new wording
•Adhere to specific conditions applicable to legislation of a country
•Research legislation, internal guides, authority practice, internal department practice, etc where needed
•Interpret rules, policies, agreements etc. and providing guidance to clients
•Meet and negotiating with product owners
•Pick up trends that influence drafting or department output
•On the job training of new employees
•Ad hoc tasks and projects

The applicant should meet these requirements:

•Matric or NQF 4 qualification;
•At least 5 years’ experience in a similar position;
•Excellent communication and interpersonal skills;
•Insight and problem solving skills;
•Mentoring ability;
•Meticulous attention to detail;
•The ability to work accurately under pressure;
•PC literate (specifically WORD and EXCEL)
