Introduction

To implement the marketing strategy and plans to enhance brand positioning and to motivate customers to purchase, resulting in increased brand awareness, sales and market share.
Minimum Requirements

Technical Skills / Experience:
Relevant advanced diploma or degree (preferably commerce or marketing)
5-8 years relevant experience in a clothing/ retail marketing environment
Solid retail skills and experience
Up-to-date in Clothing and Fashion trends
Marketing knowledge and experience
Writing skills
Creative ability
Strong interpersonal skills
Strong planning and organising skills
Attention to detail
Understanding of the SA Clothing market and customers for responsible categories
Budget management skills
Agency experience advantageous
PC Literacy including intermediate PowerPoint and Excel

Job Specification

Understand agreed business and Clothing group strategies; implement the marketing plan.
Interpret research from the customer marketing department and feed into the post campaign analysis reports.
Implement the marketing plans for the relevant Clothing departments
Conduct marketing sign off workshops with various departments to decide on key items to be marketed.
Brief in-house advertising team, visual merchandise teams and external creative partners.
Manage and adhere to the advertising and promotional critical path.
Develop and deliver seasonal ticketing and in-store messaging.
Maximise the direct channel plan for the relevant departments to enhance the building of one to one relationships with our card customers by providing content and relevant product offers.
Ensure that WW Loyalty programs are incorporated into marketing campaigns where relevant.
Analyse and provide feedback on the success of marketing, advertising and promotional campaigns by providing input into the weekly trading updates.
Provide input into the development of marketing messages on intranet, social media and digital channels.
Translate and interpret the relevant global and local fashion and customer trends into relevant briefs to creative partners (where applicable).
Provide input in setting the Marketing budget, make sure all activities related to the relevant Clothing portfolios are in line with agreed operating budgets.
Deliver and implement an editorial plan and assist in the co-ordination of key fashion shows or events in line with the relevant clothing marketing strategy/plan and manage editorial samples with relevant PR agency.
Attend Clothing Creative reviews with Studio partners to ensure that the creative delivers to the original brief.
Build and maintain effective relationships with Clothing Buyers, Planners and Designers.
Co-ordination of Clothing product for all shoots.
