  Job Title: Contact Centre Team leader

Permanent skilled level position at Standard Bank of South Africa in the Financial industry.

Provide leadership, development and operational support to a team of Tele Consultants ensuring that they are knowledgeable skilled and motivated to please our customers.

The ideal candidate will have the following competencies:

Ability

Ensure proper record keeping in terms of Financial Advisory and Intermediary Services Act as well as the Financial Intelligence Centre Act req
Ensure compliance with agreed levels of authority for own area and with all applicable laws, regulations, group policies and procedures.
At least once a week spend a minimum of an hour coaching each Tele Consultant on the calls evaluated
Action daily sales campaigns within 24 hours after receiving electronic feed.
Meet sales target, cross and up sell and conversion rate.
Manage time worked of subordinates effectively.

Experience

At least 2 years in a supervisory position within a call centre environment
Proven leadership and people management record

Knowledge

Multiproduct knowledge and experience
Knowledge of SBIS Products, policies and procedures
Inbound / Outbound Call Centre operations management
knowledge of the Code of Banking Practice
Qualifications and experience as determined by the "Fit and Proper Requirements" of the Financial Advisory and Intermediary Services Act.
Any Diploma or Degree will be an advantage
Knowledge of the Financial Advisory and Intermediary Services Act.
