Requirements: A relevant three-year tertiary or equivalent qualification plus two years
relevant supervisory experience and two years functional experience. Successful
candidates will be expected to sign a performance agreement. Knowledge: ●Knowledge of
Skills Development Act ●South African Qualification Authority Act ●National Qualification
Act ●Public Service Human Resource Development Strategies ●Public Service Act and
Regulations, Batho Pele Principles ●Public Finance Management Act and Regulations
●Departmental policies and procedures ●Management Information System ●Employment
Equity Act ●All Labour legislations. Skills: ●Communication (both verbal and written)
●Training mentoring and coaching ●Diversity management ●Problem solving ●Project
management ●Interpersonal ●Research ●Computer literacy ●Coordination ●Facilitation
●Monitoring and evaluation. Duties: ●Monitoring the development and implementation of
workplace skills plan ●Coordinate the implementation of the Human Resource Development
Strategy ●Coordinating learnership and internship programme ●Monitor the bursary
programme within the Department ●Coordinate all the training initiative for programmes
including provinces ●Monitor the orientation and induction of newly appointed staff and
proper integration within the Department.
