JOB TITLE: DIRECTOR: COURT OPERATIONS
CENTRE: REGIONAL OFFICE, MPUMALANGA
SALARY: R 719 613 – R 860 388 per annum. The successful candidate will be required to sign a performance agreement.
REQUIREMENTS: 3 year Bachelors Degree or National Diploma; Three (3) years experience should be at managerial level and extensive knowledge and understanding in office and district administration; Knowledge and experience in Financial Management and PFMA will serve as a strong recommendation; Experience in Court Management / Administration will serve as an added advantage; A valid drivers license;
Skills and Competencies: Strong leadership and managerial capabilities; Strategic capabilities; Communication (verbal and written); Computer literacy (MS Office); Knowledge of management of Third Party Funds
DUTIES: Exercise control over courts and court processes in the Province; Implementation of strategic projects to improve court efficiency and
quality management as per set standards; Managing Courts facilities including Security, Accommodation and infrastructure support; Overall management of facilities and all capital projects; Implement and maintain sound procurement practices and asset register; Operationalise the Departmental Strategy as far as it relates to
courts; Manage financial and human resources of the directorate; Oversee compilation and analysis of court statistics to reflect court performance and trends;

Compile monthly, quarterly and annual performance and statutory reports on Courts; Manage documents and maintain prescripts and records related to
functions of the Department; Direct and maintain necessary administrative activities, systems and protocol; Give inputs in the investigation of staff establishment of magistrates
offices and court houses; Identify training needs and the provisioning of on the spot training
and guidance to staff;
