Job Title: IT Test Analyst  2941/2012
Closing Date: Monday, June 25, 2012 | Gauteng
Key responsibilities
Ensure test planning for all Acceptance testing is done as per the agreed project plan and departmental roadmap
Ensure that testing project plans are documented and agreed to at least 2 weeks prior to the start of system integration testing
Ensure all test cases have been  executed as per the agreed testing plan,
Ensure that all identified defects/issues are logged within the test management tool
All issues should be logged, tracked and escalated as per the agreed SLA
Execute FAT and UAT test cases as per the agreed Test Plan
Document FAT and UAT testing results within Quality Centre, ensure all test sets identified for the day is executed, unless a defect prohibits the completion there of
Log and Track issues within the Test Management Tool and ensure closure as per the Service Level agreements
No known Severity 1 defects to be promoted to Production
Severity 2 and 3 Defects limited to no more than 20 per release
Obtain business sign off of all test cases and results prior to the promotion to production.
Test assigned Change Requests and obtain Business User Sign-off.
Ensure availability to participate in Post Implementation Support.
All issues identified during Post Implementation Support logged.
Provide daily/weekly/monthly reports in the required departmental format
Requirements, Experience and Attributes
The ideal candidate for this post should have the following:
Qualification and Skills:
Degree/ Diploma in Information Technology
Experience:
3 to 5 years’ experience in Software Testing
Experience and sound knowledge of testing tools(HP Quality Center, HP Loadrunner, HP QTP and HP Winrunner)
Exposure to ITIL processes
