The role:

Ensure product quality through effective monitoring and controlling of plant processes
Optimize plant processes and optimal utilization of equipment cost effectively within the plant
Ensure adherence to all safety and health standards and promote good housekeeping on an ongoing basis

You will need:

Skills: Communication skills, good people relation skills, interpersonal skills – interpersonal sensitivity, cross cultural awareness and stress tolerance
Abilities: Analytical – Judgement, problem analysis and objective setting; dynamism – self confidence, decisiveness, initiative and persuasiveness, operational – concern for excellence

Requirements:

Grade 12 / N3
Code 08 Drivers Licence
Min 5 years relevant experience of the Production environment including 3 years as a Shift Foreman in Plant Production
Experience in a supervisory capacity will serve as recommendation
Relevant training and experience in SHEQ and Mining Health and Safety Act

Remuneration:

The initial salary will be determined in accordance with Kumba Iron Ore regulations
The position is a Anglo Band 7
