Job Title: GALLERY COORDINATOR x 1 - (Johannesburg)

Reporting to the Africa Editor your key performance areas will include:

Assist Technical Director with managing technical crews, studio live broadcasts, productions and administration
Stand in for absent staff members on all technical disciplines in studio during live broadcasts or pre recorded productions

Requirements:
Practical experience in all technical disciplines in the studio. These include:
Audio
Vision Control / Robotics
Server / VT’s
Viz (Computer Graphics)
Vision Mixing
Technical Directing
Ability to work under pressure
Good communication and problem solving skills
Able to write operational reports using Office Word, Outlook and Excel
Functional knowledge of broadcast technology and news room operations

Note:
The successful candidate will be required to work irregular and long hours, including weekends, public holidays and standby shifts.
