Requirements:


A Grade 12 or equivalent qualification is required
In addition a three- month Care Worker or Home Care certificate is essential
Previous experience in a healthcare environment would be an advantage
Ability to read, write and communicate in English plus one other official South African language
Ability to carry out instructions conscientiously and function in a team environment
Prepared to work shifts, including night shift
In good health and physically strong
Ability to display a helpful, caring and supportive attitude towards clients

Key Outputs:


Support patient care in accordance with the instructions from senior nursing personnel
Render administrative and stock control assistance to the unit
Provide assistance in the provision of a therapeutic and safe patient environment
