Permanent management level position at Standard Bank of South Africa in the Agriculture industry.

To provide a professional advisory service to the agricultural market by conducting viability studies and agricultural property valuations for the bank to support of the optimal management of the agricultural book in line with profitability objectives and risk parameters.

To promote and enhance the bank's image and profile by representing the bank at important agricultural events

The ideal candidate will have the following competencies:

Ability

comply with bank policies and procedures
communicate effectively to internal lines of business
deal successfully with decision makers
negotiate high-level deals
develop presentations

Experience

budgeting and profitability management processes
negotiating high-level deals
credit applications

Knowledge

Standard Bank's business banking and agricultural product sets
GAAP, MLM, FAIS
diverse range of agricultural business, property valuation, credit and economic principles
legal information pertaining to the agricultural industry
agricultural market, economic factors which influence it and needsof the business in this sector
competitor products
agriculture value proposition and delivery strategy
environmental impact assessments
