Minimum Requirements

Qualification:
Grade 12
Driver licence (code 8)
Store keeping certificate
Certified to operate forklifts, cranes and lifts
Experience:
Two years field related experience

Skills and Competencies

Basic Computer literacy. (MS Office)
Warehouse practices and skills
On job training to understand technical field services specifications
Report writing skills
Safety for supervisors

Key Responsibilities

Stock and Material Warehouse Management by:
Performing a double check on all receiving, issuing documentation vs. physical quantities.
Reporting and action delivery discrepancies with Suppliers
Change control, Documentation control and Implementation (Knowledge, Change and implement)
Issues unplanned material across boundary as and when required. (Physically - system issues will be done by RDC).
Responsible for Total meter management process at Technical service center. (Conventional and Pre-paid ).
Ensuring proper demarcation of material per stock category (Planned/Unplanned/Projects Usable scrap and scrap stores)
Maintaining stock item list per workstation (If applicable)
Maintain stores gate control during and after hours including key control
Ensuring proper scrap management (Regular Clearing)
Identifying destinations and schedule material collections and arrange deliveries on site
Ensuring accurate stock recording.
Bin and stack material according to store and OHSA requirements to minimise risk of loss, damage or injury
Identifying items to be picked using correct picking instructions from work orders and ensuring accuracy of issues
Assisting with Data processing and stores administration when requested, to ensure valid and updated stock records
Performing regular material audits on TSU'S.
Production Equipment Storage by:
Maintaining safe housekeeping practices to ensure that storage area meet minimum Risk Audit System (RAS) requirements.
Maintaining stores equipment/machinery in accordance with RAS regulations
Issuing and receiving special tools / equipment (Include Live work equipment if required).
Verifying receipts of stores production equipment against the store asset register and storage locations to ensure accurate production equipment control.
Identifying items to be issued using correct work order instructions and ensuring accuracy of issues
Physically issuing production equipment in store to the Technical Services Unit as and when required
Performing asset control employing stratified mechanisms
Assisting with data processing/ asset administration when required to ensure valid and updated records.
Initiating investigations on equipment returned to store damaged.
Ensuring Store Safety by:
Supervising the handling of material by directing proper storage and stacking practices.
Ensuring that end-users perform quality inspections on all stock received and notes discrepancies of items.
RAS Audit-Stock related for material at TSC level (ie. Electrical Emergency preparedness planning where stock related)
Environmental Compliance at the TSC store environment. I.E. Hazardous substances, Oil stores etc.
Store housekeeping as per RAS requirement
Stock Level Accounting and reporting by:
Investigating, reporting and reconciling stock inaccuracies and damages, to constantly maintain a high stock accuracy
Verifying quantities picked and Material numbers against picking and dispatch instructions
Checking data processing reports on a daily basis to ensure that all documents are valid and accurate
Assisting in the identification of alternative stock applications and possible redundancies to facilitate stock reduction. (Low turnover items)
Reconciling and reporting on stock accuracy's records and ensure that cycle counting is in place
Processing and capturing of all receiving and issuing documents
Actions all relevant audit reports within set timeframes
Expedite re-ordering of un planned material to ensure sufficient service levels
Order, receive and issue of planned material
Receiving and issuing all other material ( Non stock, consumables, Projects, scrap/usable scrap material)
Generating and submiting standard monthly reports
