Requirements: A relevant three-year tertiary or equivalent qualification. Experience: Three
years management and two years functional experience. Knowledge: ●Public Service
transformation and management issues ●White Paper on transformation of the Public
Service ●Knowledge of Labour legislation relevant to the post (Public Service Act,
Employment Service Act, etc) ●Public Service Regulations and relevant prescripts
●Departmental policies and procedures ●Corporate governance ●Batho Pele Principles
●Minimum Information Security Standards. Skills: ●Analytical ●Innovative ●Client focused
●Sense of responsibility ●Organisational / goal driven ●Disciplined and ability to meet
deadlines ●Assertiveness. Duties: ●Develop and manage systems for collecting labour
market information relevant to Public Employment Services ●Develop and establish the
process of collecting information from internal and external sources ●Develop, plan and
lead the process of loading, control majors and clean-up the process of data information
●Establish and monitor the system of rendering technical advice to the relevant sources.
