Job Title: Policy & Procedures Writer
The Human Resources Department, at the University of Cape Town, is looking for an experienced Policy & Procedure Writer to join their team of Business support. The incumbent will ideally have experience in technical writing and exposure to Human Resources business process with an understanding of relevant HR legislation. The main purpose of this job is to collaborate with University stakeholders and members of the Human Resources department to review existing policy content, develop new policy content and to create procedural and guideline documentation for the interpretation of UCT HR policy.

Requirements include:
• A degree in Human Resources or related field
• Relevant experience in technical writing or policy or procedure writing
• Knowledge of HR business process and procedures
• At least 2 years’ relevant technical writing experience
• At least 2 years' experience working in an HR environment
The annual cost of employment is between R180 238 and R343 018.
