Minimum Requirements
Qualification(s)
BTech or National Higher Diploma (T4) in the following disciplines (Mech, or Elec, or C&I, or Civil, or Chem, or Industrial, or Information Management
Or
National Technical Diploma
Plus
SmartPlant Enterprise 3D Administrator and Full set of 3D Training successfully completed
Added Advantage:
Professional Registration with ECSA as a Technologist
Professional Registration with the Computer Society of SA (Member)
Experience
Minimum 5years experience in an engineering, draughting and design office environment in the utility industry
Or
Minimum 7years experience in an engineering, draughting and design office environment in the utility industry
Plus:
Experience on SPE 3D plant configuration and set up
Experience on SPE 3D modelling and design Application of engineering design codes and standards in SP 3D and Reference Data catalogues
Knowledge of SmartPlant Enterprise Software Suite and database management
Knowledge of GBE engineering processes (Design, change management and engineering documentation management

Key Responsibilities
Co-ordinate SPE 3D and Modelling Activities in Plant Engineering
SmartPlant 3D Computer Aided Engineering (CAE) and CADD Assurance & Standards
Manage Train and Development of staff
SPE 3D Application Infrastructure Management and 3D Design/Modelling Activity Reporting
Facilitate SmartPlant 3D design review sessions
