Objectives: Role Purpose:
Manage the relationships with the Franchise, Approved Dealers, ISP’s, Direct and Vodacom World Partners to achieve Vodacom’s Sales and Marketing objectives.
OBJECTIVES:
Ensure sales targets are achieved through effective sales channel marketing initiatives
Facilitate the marketing strategies of the Vodacom Shop, Vodacom 4U stores, Vodacom World Vodacom approved dealers, Vodacom direct and Vodacom brand including Independent Service Providers and WASPs
Devising and executing strategic planning for all channels
Manage the Corporate Identity of the Vodacom Brand in all channels
Initiate and evaluate media plans and ensure maximum exposure of Vodacom’s spend
Segment the target market and use mediums for the selected target audience
Evaluate opportunities for continuous change to ensure maximum reach
Reporting, channel management, competitor activity and sales analysis
Financial controlling by ensuring accurate Marketing budget allocation
Developing, implementing and facilitation of the advertising process on National and Regional levels
Development and implementation of all promotions on a national basis in order to achieve sales targets
To plan, facilitate and manage the processes involved in the events and sales initiatives for the Channels
Ensure tactical campaigns are executed timeously and within budget parameters to achieve sales targets
Ensure regular communication with internal and external stakeholders
Ensuring effective and efficient management of the staff within area of responsibility

Specialist knowledge in managing sales and costs to targets and budgets
In-depth working knowledge of the Retail and Franchise industry
Specialist knowledge in sales and financial analysis through relevant computer spread sheets
Requirements: Education and Experience
Matric / Grade 12 or SAQA accredited equivalent*
A 3 year Marketing Degree/National Diploma or SAQA accredited equivalent* (Essential)
5 – 8 years experience retail marketing experience (Essential)
Retail Sales Marketing / Advertising / Promotions experience (Advantageous)
OR
Matric / Grade 12 or SAQA accredited equivalent*
8 -10 years experience retail marketing experience (Essential)
Retail Sales Marketing / Advertising / Promotions experience (Advantageous)
