Job Purpose
To secure new pension/beneficiary fund clients for the Company by interacting with the administrators and trustees.
To provide first class service to clients and as such increase the Company's market share in the area of pension/beneficiary fund business.
To simultaneously link this wherever possible to the promotion of banking and ancillary business within the Group.
To also market our company and its services to motivate the securement of profitable Will Nominations, agency deceased estates, trusts and managed agency business.


Key Result Areas
To build and nurture strong relationships with pension/beneficiary fund administrators.
To build appropriate relationships with our pension department.
To work as a partner in securing and servicing clients by :- Training applicable personnel in regard to the added value benefits of the product.
Regular contact, beneficial advice and informed opinion on legal and business matters affecting clients.
Providing ongoing feedback to all involved parties.
Actively market for agency deceased estates, funds under administration and leads for assurance business.
Maintain close contact with estate and trust departments for potential business.
Attend to matters as prescribed by the Line Manager.
Attending and actively contributing to team meetings.
Maintaining accurate records of discussion with clients which will stand the scrutiny of visiting inspectors.

The ideal candidate will have the following competencies:

Ability

lead a team
Must be proactive and able to manage self.
Good communication and interpersonal skills in at least 2 different languages.
Needs to be enthusiastic, a self starter and target driven/result orientated.
ability to assess the problem accurately and utilises creative techniques to provide the solution within laid down procedures
The applicant should be mature, outgoing, and have well-developed interpersonal skills and appropriate qualifications.

Experience

At least 5 years experience in a financial/legal/commercial environment.

Knowledge

Matric, Trustee Diploma/CAIB or a Commercial or Legal Degree, ILPA is an added advantage.
