Outputs Utilise deep and extensive working knowledge of BI solutions in order to

- Perform complex data analysis in support of ad-hoc and standing customer requests
- Develop programs, methodologies, and files for analysing and presenting data
- Use and support database applications and analytical tools: evaluate data quality, applications, and functions
- Research new data sources and analytical tools; contribute to new product development and improvement in product delivery and presentation
- Assist with the cleaning and standardization of data. Extract and analyse systems data to identify errors and inconsistencies and work with appropriate individuals to resolve data inaccuracies/inconsistencies
- Provide direct support in the development, publication and dissemination of reports and presentations including compilation of data, creation of charts and tables, design of report, and incorporating input from various sources.
Education & Experience Relevant University Degree
Relevant Microsoft certifications
5- 7 years development experience in a Microsoft/ BI environment
BI and data warehouse experience (including experience with OLAP tools such as SQL Server Analysis Services, Performance Point)
Competencies Functional Competencies

•Demonstrated experience and expertise with SAS programming language or other data analysis tool required.
•Demonstrated experience using advanced Excel features and techniques required.
•Demonstrated experience in analysis and presentation of data required.
•Experience working with a variety of information systems and data files, including large and complex files:
•Analysing file structure, using and creating file layouts, transforming raw data into finished products.
•Experience with database application development (e.g., Microsoft SQL Server) desirable.
•BI and data warehouse experience (including experience with OLAP tools such as SQL Server Analysis Services, Performance Point)
•Expert understanding of Microsoft architecture (broader that BI)
•Expert knowledge of Kimball methodology (specifically Kimball based data modelling
•Technical: MS SQL server (latest) and associated BI technologies e.g. Strategy Companion; TimeExtender, Multivue)
•Development Technologies: .NET experience
•Query Tools: Excel, Report builder, Reporting services
•Application Configuration (experienced)
•Project Management (intermediate)
