Introduction

We are looking for a FLM in ISC Imports Operations in the Western Cape. Must have a minimum of 5 years experience in the imports forwarding, shipping and clearing environment
Minimum Requirements

Able to work flexible hours in line with the business requirements
International trade or shipping course / diploma
Deep experience in Customs and Excise requirements, ways of working and procecures
Understanding of related technical terms, processes and procedures pertaining forwarding, shipping, clearing.
Advanced skills in Excel and Customs clearance system
A minimum of 5 years experience in the import forwarding, shipping and clearing environment.
Job Specification

To cost effectively manage daily, weekly and monthly execution of Country Road Imports operations / RTA’s / RTV’s and management reporting (daily, weekly and monthly),  while ensuring that all imports operational activities are in accordance with CR RSA business processes, time lines and Government legislative requirements.

Manage the daily / weekly execution of CR Imports Ops team outcomes, with actions in place to address back logs to ensure on time clearance and delivery
Manage and resolve non compliance and service failures in the CR Imports Ops team and CR import operations RSA Service Providers
Manage the update of daily & weekly CR import clearing statistics and PacNet Dashboard
Manage daily critical paths through Invocoms with CR Imports Ops Team
Manage operational component of CR RTV’s and RTA’s (deliveries, collections, container bookings etc.)
Responsible for the update of CR monthly KPI’s and Scorecard
Ensure process in place to drive CR Service Provider invoice accuracy and supporting documents
Ensure regular Control Self Assessments done on all CR Import operations processes
Ensure all process / timeline deviances are proactively managed with preventative action plans in place
Co-ordinate and Monitor on time deliveries to CR delivery addresses in RSA
Ensure conformance to WW Finance deadlines and requirements for the payment of CR supplier and service provider invoices
Responsible for the end to end CR RTA/RTV and Customs Duty Drawback refund process
Stay abreast of legislative changes that may impact on CR imports operations
Elevate and liaise with CR Int. Supply Chain Manager issues arising from CR Forwarders
Build, develop and entrench a high performance culture with the CR Imports Operations team by providing guidance, support and hands-on coaching where required
Adherence to corporate governance principles
