Job Mission

Mission •To operate within defined parameters as set out in the Policies, processes and procedures as well as under the guidance from the Production planning Supervisor by monitoring receipt and issue of spares. •Responsible for Variance reconciliation and maintain correct t stock on hand at all times. Execution and planning of monthly stock takes with accurate counting and constant follow up with outstanding spares delivery’s from Manufactures in accordance to SLA requirements.

KPA Duties

Task Complexity: Daily / Weekly Tasks: •Forecasting of spares on a weekly basis. •Ensure spares for new products are ordered ahead of product release. •Ensure sufficient stock on hand at all times. •Monitor of slow moving stock and escalate your direct report weekly. •Receipting and issuing spares to all technicians •Comply to ESD requirements. •Packing and labelling of all spares for clear identification and allocation of new spares arriving. •Communicate all new spares delivered to internal Supervisors. •Immediate escalation of shortages. •Storage of faulty spares and destruction of faulty spares according to policy. •Ensure 2% Obsolescence is maintained monthly with escalation to Management. •Fully accountable for Stock take execution and clearance of In transit report prior to snapshot. •Reconcile all Stock Variances within specific times frames set by Management. •Comply to SLA Adherence and escalate when breached. •Adherence to PPP’s at all times. •Coaching of fellow staff members. •Ensure minimum repaired handsets in Awaiting spare allocation and Work in Progress statuses. •Execution of RTV’s on non supply of spares. •Clear labelling of all bins for spares storage •Record Keeping of Delivery notes •Adhere to all security requirements in accordance to PPP’s Reports : •Daily Submission of orders received •Daily Submission of orders outstanding and short received and escalate to Management •Daily Submission of back orders. •Daily Report and monitor exceptions on ASA / WIP live statuses. •Weekly monitoring and control spares on Operating system to ensure system matches physical. •Weekly Accurate reporting on statistics in HVRC Midrand spares availability. •Accountable for dispatching faulty spares to Manufactures and daily follow up. •Monthly Variances reconciliation report. •Monthly Obsolesce report •Daily submission of Spares Invoice’s (Delivery Notes) to Finance for Capturing. Financial Functions : •Ensure all payments are recorded and follow up with Finance department. •Reconciliation of Monthly Variances and submission of claims as per Policy. •Sumission of all invoices received from Manufactures •Accounts management for outstanding spares invoices. •Low % Obsolesces Quality : •Supervise adherence to SLA and PPPs – e.g. TAT requirements, •Ensure that accuracy is maintained on Operating system with regard to Book-in, dispatching and receipting of spares •Control the overall TAT for HVRC as per set target by Management from time to time. •Chasing/expediting through Supervisors for on time release of repaired handsets, prioritizing repairs and all other teams to ensure dispatch of handsets same day to meet TAT targets. •Conformance to ISO standards •Ensure handset contents verified prior to dispatching unit •Ensure quality checks are adhered to prior to dispatching handsets. Staff aspects : Ensure demand planning and execution on of incoming Volumes. Stock take adherence in line with PPP’s Role Dependencies: •IS •Courier •Dealer, Franchise and Retail channels not completing documentation correctly. •Staff •Security, Outsource Partners

Requirements

Education: Matric and tertiary qualification in Stock / Inventory Control Certificate Diploma in warehouse Management is an advatage.
Experience: •3 Years Administration experience within a Inventory control •2 Years, Oracle and RMS experience •1Years courier Logistics •1 Year Loss prevention •1 Year Customer service Liaison
Knowledge: •Knowledge of the Challenger, Oracle and RMS systems •In dept knowledge of Cellular industry •Computer related Skills / physical competencies: •Attitude •Problem solving •Innovation •High level of Customer relation’s skills. •Communication skills Behavioural qualities: •Professionalism •Interpersonal relations •Dedicated and committed •Strong attention to detail. •Work well under pressure. •Change Management
