  Job Title: SENIOR PROFESSIONAL NURSE


DUTIES: The appointed candidate will be required to manage the day to day nursing
operations of the clinical area within Student Services, including coordination of patient care,
individual and team supervision. Providing consultation and advice to others as specialized
practitioner, provide a high quality service and advice that is proactive and solution focused
and responsive to customer needs. Ensure adherence of Divisional/Department and
university policies as they relate to nursing procedures, standards and practices,
administrative and budgetary management and troubleshooting of problem areas.
REQUIREMENTS: The applicant must be in a possession of a Bachelor’s degree in Nursing
with four years’ relevant experience at a University setting directly related to the duties and
responsibilities specified, must be registered with South African Nursing Council (SANC).
The Candidate should also meet current standards for registration and has dispensing
license.
