Purpose of job:

To provide key support to the graduate manager in delivering a talent pipeline through the graduate development programmes.

Key result areas:

Identifying and attracting talent - screening and interviewing applications and applicants.Communication channel between graduates, line management and HR business partners.Providing advice and guidance to the business on staffing issues, recruitment queries, employment policies, procedures and processes.Ensuring that the applicant tracking system is kept up to date and records all recruitment activity.Co-ordinating assessment centre activities.Offer management.Onboarding process management.Ensure professional treatment of candidates through the recruitment process.Managing regret processes effectively and with dignity.Report on status and effectiveness of recruitment metrics.Effective management of vendors including processing of invoice payments.Foster and maintain relationships with key stakeholders inside and outside the organization.Act as ambassador for the bank and ensure continued enhancement of the employment brand.Provide administrative assistance with regards to the design and implementation of the development programme.Provide administrative assistance with regards to the design and implementation of other graduate recruitment initiatives such as the internships, insights weeks.Candidate relationship management - pre and post placement.

Essential Requirements:

Degree.Large project recruitment experience.Experience in developing and promoting ideas on how to improve recruitment practices and attracting the right candidate for the role.High degree of professionalism and the ability to work well independently and effectively with others.Ability to maintain the necessary degree of professionalism with graduates and to balance this relationship with programme protocols.Client focused with enthusiasm to provide high touch and quality customer service.

Experience required:

Minimum of 18 months - 3 years experience as a graduate recruiter.Previous financial services graduate recruitment experience would be advantageous.

Internal and External Relationships:

Internal stakeholders: business unit executives and line management, HR business partners, centres of excellence - learning, talent, performance, etc.External stakeholders: applicants, university career offices, student societies, vendors.
