Must have knowledge of applicable Health & Safety requirements. Special requirements: Willing and able to work “long hours”. A valid driver’s license. Able to work at heights and confined spaces. The incumbent will be responsible for the co-ordinating, controlling and maintaining of standards for the following functional areas: RNC/BTS and repeater site build, transmission link integration, NodeB acceptance. The management of regional installation team members, vendor and subcontractor activities related to the RAN network. Please note that preference may be given to Employment Equity candidates (including people with disabilities) The ideal candidate will have the following competencies: Ability install and repair radio / satellite technology equipment Problem Solving Decision making diagnose radio / satellite technology system problems Experience project work radio / satellite technology industry RAN (GSM/UMTS) installation and commissioning RAN (GSM/UMTS) installation and commissioning Management Knowledge Mobile Network Architecture & Hardware Mobile Network Commissioning GSM/WCDMA
